Weaving Light,
Dreaming Form
Weaving Light, Dreaming Form is a two-person exhibition that explores how light and imagination shape emotion, space, and memory.
Weaving Light, Dreaming Form explores how light and imagination shape emotional and material experience through the distinct practices of two artists.
Junying Jiang creates digital illustrations inspired by mythology, fairy tales, and personal memories. Her work blends fantasy with reality, offering playful yet thoughtful reflections on emotion and culture.
Ketong Xing, influenced by architectural thinking and the wabi-sabi philosophy of tea culture, constructs meditative textile forms using tracing paper, fibre optics, and pearls. Her work captures the quiet interplay of light, material, and space.
Together, their practices weave fantasy and structure, softness and precision. The exhibition becomes a space where light is both presence and metaphor—inviting viewers to pause, observe, and feel what lies between the visible and the imagined.
